JANSKÉ LÁZNĚ, noted spa town and centre of summer and winter activities, is located in eastern part of Giant Mountains, in the valley of Janský brook below Černá hora (1299 m above sea level).
In the year 2006, new 8-places cable car to Černá hora was put onto operation, with the name „ČERNOHORSKÝ EXPRESS“. The works took approximately 4 months, the producer of technology is Austrian company Doppelmayr. It is historically the third cable car from Janské Lázně to Černá hora. The summer operation of cable car is from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the basis of time table.
During the summer time from 29.5.2010 to 3.10.2010 can the visitors use the services of "Černohorský BUS“. It is a transport connection of cable car and bus from Pec pod Sněžkou through Horní Maršov to Janské Lázně and back. The most favourite trips are pathes to Pec pod Sněžkou, Velká Úpa and Horní Maršov - therefore we offer you the common ticket to cable car "Černohorský Express" and "Černohorský BUS". You get a bonus to the ticket - voucher for 2 ways for the price of 1 way to 1. Giant mountain bob-sleigh in Relax park Pec pod Sněžkou. You get bonus with ticket - it is voucher for 50 % discount for 1. Giant Mountains bobsleigh in Relaxpark in Pec pod Sněžkou. The tickets you can buy in cash desk of cable car - in the case you use the way by cable car to Černá hora as the first service, or at bus driver - if you use bus services first.
In the case of good weather conditions you can visit the outlook tower Panorama on the top of Černá hora, you can see the Giant Mountain tops from here. 1. Giant Mountain cycling path is opened from the middle of June. The path is 16 km long and goes throught forest in „Černá and Světlá hora“. The path offers you the beautiful views to main giang mountain edge with its view point – Sněžka. Ideal starting place is top station of cable car. If you use cable car you avoid to the climbing in the lenght of 6 km and the exceeding 600 m. From this date is opened Path „černohorské rašeliniště“ for walking visitors too.
